where did you get your shield? For the colleecors the items take too long to find. I use my heros because i have to. After an hour or 2 i found 1 of the 5 collector items. I was collecting the dredge incisors. If i bought the shield, how much would it be and would people see it?

i found it pretty easy to go out of camp rankor and kill the griffons using hench&heroes.
got 5 frosted griffon wings in about 7 runs.... then afterwards i found out i still had my old -2stance carapace :|

If that fails you can always pick up a decent one for very cheap either in game or on the forums here.

Next time your in town (kamadan /lions arch) just do a wtb and it wont take long before you get some replies (usualy) plus you can even make the gold back in one or two of the underworld runs easily.

Hi, I'm new to farming with a warrior (since griffons XD), I get past the grasps at the start alright, but when I try to run to the smites I get owned by the aatxes on the way.

I tried using physical resistance when running but I still get killed. What I haven't done is use my +7 sword but will that really help?

try waiting for the grasping group in the next room to move far enough away to pass by, and if possible wait for all of the Aatxes to get together so that you can sprint away from them, leaving all of them behind.

if they dont bunch up, physical resistance should be able to keep you alive to get at least halfway to the smites, allowing you to sprint the rest. if you keep running and dont stop, you shouldn't be getting hit (not that much anyway).

basic running section to all uw farmers who do smites only, the +7 sword wont do much, i usualy use phys res to just get close enough to sprint away, its not safe, but it saves waiting, if your having a hard time, just wait for a gap and speak through mabye.

I have never even been to UW and usually only farm easy spots like first city with 55 monk, fastfoot with necro, mino's out of ice tooth w/me in normal for event items or 55 nec in HM for tomes and gold..should I even attempt this? I see lots of ppl posting problems with the "run" to the smites or whatever they are. On most farms I have tried the running past stuff is where I die and never can get it for some reason..only way I have been able to do them is take hero's and flag them somewhere so that they aggro the monsters and then i run by leaving my heros to die, would that work here? I know most are thinking just go try it but it would take a lot of cash to get my stuff set up as needed and pay 1k per run and find out 40k later I suck too bad to do it

only way is to try it once or twice and see if you think you can do it. maybe get somebody to give you a demo run of it to show you what it's like (if the video isnt enough)

Just curious didn't want to get my hopes up....i can't watch youtube from work so will have to wait till i get home. I do have a new suit of armor though that has no runes/insig's on it so at least that part is covered and I can prolly steal most of the armor mods from my heros...I am so broke it ain't even funny like 150k 9 ecto 30 diamonds and that is it. Wish they would revert that effing loot scale already!!

my only problem is running through the aatxes to the smites. i wait till the last possible time to use enraging but it still runs out and i either barely escape or i die.. other than that its really fast.

hmmm thats where all of us get trouble, my problem is lag = rubberband... fail...

but yeah practice ftw, the more you do it, the less fails

none ^^ , i dont like the fow sets (except necro and monk) (excuses for not having it) but yeah, i like my 15k sets, i'll stick with those, i also dont grind farm, I joy farm (it does exsist), and i get bored too easy, so i just post the builds and let others get rich on them ^^

I got a set of Asura armor when EO:TN first came out and didn't like it after I got it so going to try to set it up for this farm and give it a try...too bad I sold all those UW scrolls I got from Fastfoot farming

I may have 5 or 6 left though. I am also not far from another title on my warrrior so I can work on that until we get favor...1 more and PKM!!

i havent had any troubles with the run to the smites so far...
after clearing out all of the graspings, i usually wait on the stairs and observe the aatxe and grasping patrols in the next room.

when the grasping group gets to where it is on the screenshot, and starts to move away i run towards the aatxes in the chamber, when they start to move towards me i hit sprint and run past them all the way through to the mouth of the next room

i dont stop to wait, or else the grasping patrol will catch up to me.
i make my way towards the smites, and when the 2 aatxes in the chamber get close to me, i throw up physical resistance. this usually keeps me relatively safe until sprint recharges

when the other 2 aatxes come into range, i generally circle around them so that they're all behind me when heading towards the stairs. then i hit sprint and leave them all behind.

if all goes well, the aatxes should break aggro and continue patrolling.

the most important part is to be calm about it. if you start getting nervous or try to cut anymore corners, you're more likely to get stuck and/or mess up.
if something does happen to go wrong, you can try to sprint back into the starting chamber and hide behind the ghosts and try again.

oh and also, i prefer sprint to enraging charge. i manage without those extra strikes of adrenaline, and that extra second of having a speed boost makes the runs a bit easier too.
